Amends Arizona law to clarify that certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) may issue medication orders for drugs and medications, including controlled substances, to be administered by licensed health care providers during anesthetic procedures.

Specifies that CRNAs may administer anesthetics only under the direction and presence of a physician or surgeon in health care institutions, offices of licensed health care professionals, or ambulances.

Limits CRNA prescribing authority to anesthetics and medication orders within the specified clinical settings; prohibits CRNAs from writing or issuing prescriptions for medications to be filled or dispensed for use outside these settings.

Provides immunity from liability for physicians and surgeons for acts or omissions of CRNAs who order or administer anesthetics under the section's requirements.

Updates definition of "medication order" and "presence" in state nursing law to reflect CRNA scope of practice involving controlled substances.
