Replaces terminology of "husband and wife" with gender-neutral language such as "spouse," "married couple," or "spouses" throughout the Arizona Revised Statutes in 56 sections across multiple titles covering family law, property rights, taxes, vital records, and other areas.

Removes prohibition on same-sex marriage by deleting section 25-101, subsection C which previously stated "Marriage between persons of the same sex is void and prohibited."

Updates spousal privilege provisions in evidence and child welfare statutes to use neutral "spouse" or "spousal" terminology while maintaining the same legal protections and exceptions.

Amends tax code sections to use inclusive language for married couples filing joint returns and claiming certain tax credits and deductions.

Directs state agencies, boards, commissions, and departments to make similar terminology changes in their administrative rules.
