Establishes an internal clinical oversight review committee within the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) to be created by the director.

Committee must include the director or designee and internal experts in quality performance, behavioral health, operations, finance, and data analytics.

Committee shall meet quarterly, review clinical data and quality performance metrics, analyze system performance and member experience, advise the director on challenges and service improvements, and solicit perspectives from patients and advocates regarding behavioral health services.

Committee activities are subject to section 36-2917 protections as a review committee of the system.

AHCCCS must submit annual reports by February 1st to the governor, legislative leadership, and relevant committee chairs summarizing topics reviewed and quality performance metric recommendations.
