AZ SB1450

Repeals and replaces Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-530.01 relating to child welfare placement procedures.

Requires the Department of Child Safety to notify all previous foster homes when a child who was returned home is removed again, except when the previous foster family has substantiated or outstanding allegations, reports, or investigations.

Mandates the Department place the child back in a previous foster home unless placement is not in the child's best interests or the prior foster family declines the placement.

Establishes a preference for placement in the most recently used foster home when a child has resided in multiple previous foster homes.
