Appropriates $8.5 million from the medical marijuana fund to the Department of Health Services for fiscal year 2017-2018 for education, training, and research related to medical marijuana.

$2,000,000 to the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board to educate and train peace officers on enforcing marijuana laws under the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.

$2,000,000 to Arizona State University's College of Public Service and Community Solutions to research and report on the impact of marijuana and drug policy changes on state residents.

$2,000,000 to the University of Arizona College of Medicine to conduct scientific research on marijuana as medicine, including pharmaceutical-level studies.

$2,500,000 distributed to three county superintendent offices based on population size to develop substance abuse prevention programs related to marijuana use; unexpended funds revert to the medical marijuana fund by June 30, 2018.
