Court shall place a person convicted of personal possession or use of a controlled substance on probation if evidence was obtained during a drug overdose emergency or while seeking medical assistance for someone experiencing an overdose.

The automatic probation requirement applies regardless of prior convictions, overriding restrictions in section 13-901.01, subsection H, paragraph 4.

Upon successful completion of probation, the court shall automatically set aside the judgment of guilt pursuant to section 13-907.

Applies to both individuals experiencing their own overdose and those in good faith seeking medical assistance for another person's overdose.
