Honors the memory of George William Lemen, who died on September 3, 2016, at age 73.

Recognizes Lemen's community service including his roles as Pima Town Council member (2006-2014), Mayor of Pima, and leadership in the Gila Watershed Partnership.

Acknowledges his volunteer work as president of the Mt. Graham Safe House and membership in civic organizations including People for the West and the Society of Mining Engineering.

Expresses the Arizona Legislature's sincere regret at his passing and extends deepest sympathies to his surviving wife Carla, mother Doris, four children, and four grandchildren.

Adopted unanimously by both the House and Senate on April 26, 2017.
