AZ SCR1014

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 5-103.01 to prohibit Racing Commission employees and appointees from entering into business dealings, ventures, or contracts with racetrack owners, lessees, or permittees.

Prohibits Racing Commission employees and appointees from being employed in any capacity by any racetrack or permittee.

Prohibits Racing Commission employees and appointees from participating as an owner-trainer, trainer, or jockey in any racing meeting conducted in Arizona.

Makes a technical correction by changing "race track" to "racetrack" in the statutory language.

Requires submission of this measure to Arizona voters at the next general election if approved by the Legislature.
