Arizona Legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention of states limited to proposing amendments regarding fiscal restraints on the federal government, limiting federal power and jurisdiction, and limiting terms of office for federal officials and members of Congress.

The application continues until at least two-thirds of state legislatures make similar applications on the same subjects.

The application is automatically revoked if used to call a convention for purposes other than imposing fiscal restraints, limiting federal power and jurisdiction, or limiting terms of office for federal officials and members of Congress.

Arizona delegates to any such convention are instructed not to support term limits for members of Congress that would restrict service to fewer than 12 years, and the Legislature may provide further instructions to or recall delegates for breach of duty.

The Arizona Secretary of State must transmit a copy of the resolution to the President, Congress, Arizona's congressional delegation, and presiding officers of all state legislatures.
