Recognizes the 95th anniversary of the 1922 Colorado River Compact in 2017 and its role as a founding principle in cooperative management agreements collectively known as "The Law of the River."

Acknowledges Arizona's lower Colorado River allocation of 2.8 million acre feet per year as vital to the state's economy and supporting agricultural, municipal, industrial, and tribal sectors.

Notes that cooperative agreements among Colorado River basin states and Mexico have successfully conserved water to help maintain Lake Mead water levels.

Resolves that Arizona's Legislature and Governor recognize the critical importance of protecting Arizona's Colorado River allocation and continuing cooperative management of this resource with other basin states and Mexico.
