Renews the designation of Phoenix-Goodyear Airport as a Military Reuse Zone (MRZ) for an additional ten-year term, with termination set for ten years from December 3, 2017.

The MRZ designation applies to property consisting of the Phoenix-Goodyear Airport and former Lockheed Martin Corporation property, originally established as a Naval Air Facility in 1941.

MRZ status has helped attract and retain six companies and create over 900 direct jobs since 2003, despite a 93% reduction in aerospace defense jobs in the zone since 2007.

The previous MRZ designation was set to expire December 3, 2017, and this renewal extends economic development incentives and support for aviation/aerospace industry activity in the region.

Directs the Secretary of State to transmit copies of the resolution to the City of Phoenix and City of Goodyear.
