• Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 25-319 regarding spousal maintenance in marriage dissolution and legal separation proceedings.

• Expands grounds for maintenance awards to include spouses who have made "significant financial or other contribution" to the other spouse's education, training, vocational skills, career or earning ability.

• Adds new factor allowing maintenance awards when a spouse has "significantly reduced that spouse's income or career opportunities for the benefit of the other spouse."

• Includes the reduced income/career opportunity factor in the list of relevant considerations courts must review when determining maintenance amounts and duration.
