HB 2045 Summary

• Repeals section 41-3018.15, Arizona Revised Statutes, relating to the acupuncture board of examiners.

• Adds new section 41-3022.18 establishing the acupuncture board of examiners termination date as July 1, 2022.

• Repeals Title 32, chapter 39 (acupuncture licensing regulations) and section 41-3022.18 on January 1, 2023.

• Continues the acupuncture board of examiners to promote safe and professional practice of acupuncture pursuant to section 41-2955, subsection B.

• Effective retroactively from and after July 1, 2018.
