• Creates new crime of "sexual extortion" (section 13-1428) defined as knowingly communicating threats to coerce another person into sexual contact, photography, or exhibition of genitals/anus/female breast.

• Classifies sexual extortion as class 3 felony, or class 2 felony if victim is under 15 years of age, with sentencing pursuant to dangerous crimes against children statutes.

• Defines "communicating a threat" for sexual extortion purposes to include threats to damage property, harm reputation, or distribute sexual images/videos of the victim.

• Adds sexual extortion to the list of dangerous crimes against children (section 13-705) when victim is under 15 years of age.

• Requires persons convicted of sexual extortion with victims under 15 years of age to register as sex offenders (section 13-3821).
