AZ HB2060

Adds section 27-1237 to Arizona Revised Statutes governing variances for exploration operations and aggregate mining units.

Authorizes the inspector to allow owners or operators to vary from any adopted rules or reclamation plan requirements through rule or conditional order.

Permits variances only if the inspector finds the variance will not endanger public safety and will not be inconsistent with reclamation plan objectives.

Became effective upon approval by the Governor on March 22, 2018.
