Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 28-672 to add Section 28-710 (state highway work zones) to the list of moving violations that can result in criminal charges for causing serious physical injury or death.

Renumbers existing violations in the statute from paragraphs 2-10 to paragraphs 3-11 to accommodate the new work zone violation.

Maintains existing penalties including mandatory traffic survival school attendance, possible community restitution, and driving privilege suspension of up to 90 days for serious injury or 180 days for death.

Preserves current prosecution time limits of two years from discovery of the offense and restitution cap of $10,000.

Classifies violation as a class 3 misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $1,000 if the violation results in death.
