Requires each employer governing body to adopt an annual pension funding policy for public safety personnel hired before July 1, 2017, effective on or before July 1, 2019.

Pension funding policy must address: maintaining stability of employer contributions, meeting funding requirements and timelines, defining a funded ratio target, and establishing a timeline for reaching that target.

Requires employers to formally accept their share of assets and liabilities under the system based on the system's actuarial valuation report.

Mandates that employers post their pension funding policy on their public website for transparency.
