Amends Arizona law to apply Title 38, Chapter 8, Article 1 (due process protections) to private postsecondary institution peace officers who are certified by the Arizona peace officer standards and training board.

Expands the definition of "law enforcement officer" in section 38-1101 to include nonprobationary regularly employed peace officers appointed by private postsecondary institutions under section 15-1897 who are certified by the Arizona peace officer standards and training board.

Ensures private postsecondary institution peace officers receive the same due process protections and disciplinary hearing procedures as other law enforcement officers in Arizona.
