AZ HB2144

Prohibits state agencies, political subdivisions, law enforcement agencies, and their employees from knowingly assisting federal law enforcement in investigating, detaining, or prosecuting individuals authorized to use medical marijuana under Arizona law.

Prohibits use of state assets, monies, or funds allocated to political subdivisions to aid federal law enforcement agencies or their service providers in prosecuting medical marijuana violations for individuals authorized under Arizona's medical marijuana program.

Applies specifically to activities involving medical marijuana use, distribution, possession, consumption, manufacturing, or cultivation authorized under Arizona Revised Statutes Title 36, Chapter 28.1.

Defines "law enforcement agency" as the Arizona Department of Public Safety, county sheriff departments, and municipal police departments.
