Establishes remote dispensing site pharmacies where pharmacy technicians or interns prepare and dispense medications under remote supervision by a pharmacist using audio and visual technology.

Requires remote dispensing site pharmacies to be jointly owned by or under contract with a licensed Arizona pharmacy, supervised by a designated pharmacist, and equipped with continuous video surveillance recorded for at least 60 days.

Limits pharmacist supervision of remote dispensing sites to one site while also supervising a traditional pharmacy, or up to two sites if not simultaneously supervising another pharmacy, with board approval for additional sites.

Mandates pharmacy technicians working at remote dispensing sites complete 1,000 hours of outpatient pharmacy experience, maintain active national certification, and complete a 2-hour continuing education program on remote dispensing practices.

Requires pharmacists to query the controlled substances prescription monitoring program database before dispensing schedule II controlled substances at remote dispensing sites and prohibits extemporaneous compounding at these locations.
