Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-193 regarding the powers and duties of the Attorney General and Department of Law.

Modifies language in subsection A.1 to clarify that the Attorney General shall initiate, prosecute and defend proceedings in the Arizona Supreme Court where the state or a state officer in their official capacity is a party.

Updates subsection A.2 to allow the Attorney General to initiate proceedings in state courts other than the Supreme Court when deemed necessary by the Attorney General, in addition to when directed by the governor.

Makes technical and grammatical corrections throughout the statute, including replacing "the" with "this" when referring to the state and updating dated language for clarity.

Clarifies language in subsection A.3 to explicitly authorize the Attorney General to initiate actions in federal courts on behalf of the state.
