AZ HB2210

Directs the Arizona Attorney General to analyze legal theories by September 17, 2018 for gaining state ownership or control of federal public lands within Arizona, including the equal sovereignty principle, equal footing doctrine, compact theory, and property clause arguments.

Requires the Attorney General to submit a report of the analysis to the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House by October 1, 2018.

Authorizes the Attorney General to commence litigation to attempt to gain ownership or control of public lands within the state on or after November 1, 2018, following consultation with legislative leaders.

The authority to pursue such litigation expires September 30, 2026.
