Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 38-1113 to modify firearm carrying rights for peace officers and retired peace officers.

Peace officers employed as law enforcement in Arizona must comply with firearm requirements prescribed by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board.

Retired peace officers may carry firearms unless prohibited by specific circumstances including jails, courthouses, during criminal investigations, secured police facilities, while consuming alcohol at licensed establishments, and when subject to court orders or prohibited possessor laws.

Expands the definition of "peace officer" to include municipal, county, and state prosecutors who annually pass an approved pistol qualifying examination and law enforcement officers from other states or tribal governments certified by equivalent agencies.

Law enforcement agencies may establish rules regarding the number, type, model, caliber, and brand of firearms carried by their peace officers on or off duty, consistent with this statute.
