• Adds contact information protection provisions allowing plaintiffs to request their address and contact information be withheld from public court documents while maintaining confidentiality in separate database or automated system.

• Modifies service and registration requirements for protective orders, requiring registration with national crime information center within 24 hours of service and establishing supreme court central repository for verification of order validity.

• Extends emergency order of protection duration from close of next business day to 72 hours, whichever is longer, and requires law enforcement to register emergency orders with national crime information center.
