Joint technical education districts are excluded from receiving letter grades under the school accountability system established in section 15-241.

Joint technical education districts remain subject to annual achievement profile requirements and performance audits, but cannot be assigned A through F letter grades.

The Department of Education shall develop specific performance criteria applicable to joint districts based on graduation rates, program completion rates, assessment performance, and postgraduation employment and enrollment rates.

Joint districts must continue submitting annual reports to the Governor and Legislature by December 31 each year, including enrollment data, program offerings, completion rates, and program costs.
