Charter schools, their governing bodies, sponsors, and related organizations must comply with open meeting requirements under Arizona Title 38, Chapter 3, Article 3.1, with notices, agendas, and minutes prominently posted on charter school and state board for charter schools websites.

Charter schools must comply with public records requirements under Arizona Title 39, Chapter 1, with public records prominently posted on charter school and state board for charter schools websites.

Charter school governing bodies must be composed of at least three members, with majority of remaining members constituting a quorum if vacancies exist unless prohibited by the charter school's operating agreement.

Sponsors must submit annual reports to the auditor general by October 1 detailing charter authorizations, academic and operational performance, closures, and application and renewal processes.
