Prohibits teachers, principals, and other school district or charter school employees from subjecting pupils to corporal punishment, defined as inflicting physical pain on a pupil as a means of discipline.

Amends section 15-843 to replace procedures for corporal punishment with a prohibition against corporal punishment, requiring governing boards to include this prohibition in their disciplinary rules.

Maintains existing procedures for suspension, expulsion, and other pupil discipline methods, including notice requirements, hearing procedures, and appeal rights.

Preserves the authority of school personnel to use reasonable physical force in self-defense, defense of others, and defense of property.
