Amends Arizona Revised Statutes § 9-462.01 to prohibit municipalities from adopting land use regulations requiring nongovernmental primary or secondary schools to operate on properties larger than one acre.

Adds new § 11-820.01 to impose the same one-acre minimum property requirement restriction on counties for nongovernmental primary or secondary schools.

Modifies existing zoning regulation language to clarify terminology ("for the civic districts" instead of "therefor") and correct wording in development rights provisions ("before" instead of "prior to").

Applies uniformly to both municipal and county governments, ensuring consistent treatment of private school zoning requirements across jurisdictions.

Became effective upon approval by the Governor on March 27, 2018.
