• Maintains requirements that board members must have served at least six consecutive years on the board, been covered under the plan while serving, pay the full premium themselves, and their participation cannot result in district expenditures.

• Allows surviving spouses and dependents of deceased board members to continue plan participation if they were covered under the member's participation, pay full premiums, and participation does not cost the district money.
