Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Title 15, chapter 7, article 1 by adding section 15-708 regarding parental notification of mathematics proficiency.

Requires school districts and charter schools to notify parents of pupils in grades 6-8 who have not demonstrated proficiency in grade-level mathematics based on local or statewide assessments.

Notification must be provided no later than the first half of the second quarter of the school year, if statewide assessment results are available before the school year starts.

Notification must include a description of the pupil's mathematics deficiencies as demonstrated by statewide assessment and a description of current mathematics services provided by the school, including supplemental instructional services and remediation programs.

Enacted into law and approved by the Governor on March 29, 2018.
