AZ HB2542

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 45-111 to modify the annual report requirements for the director of the Department of Water Resources.

Removes the requirement that the Arizona Water Resources Advisory Board review and deem amendments necessary, changing the language so only the director's assessment is required.

Adds a new requirement that the director present the annual report to the Senate Natural Resources, Energy and Water Committee and the House Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Committee upon request each year.

Maintains existing requirements that the annual report be submitted to the governor and legislature by July 1 and made available to the public.
