Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 41-621 regarding risk management and insurance coverage for the state and its departments, agencies, boards, and commissions.

Modifies settlement procedures for liability claims by adding language that a judgment on a claim for liability damages that is on appeal may be settled only according to the existing settlement authority limits and procedures.

Makes technical corrections to the statute including gender-neutral language changes (replacing "his" with "the officer, agent or employee," "which" with "that") and hyphenation corrections ("seven member" to "seven-member," "work site" to "worksite").

Maintains existing settlement authority framework allowing claims up to $25,000 to be settled without approval, claims from $25,000-$50,000 requiring director and attorney general approval, and claims over $50,000 requiring approval from the director, attorney general, and joint legislative budget committee.
