Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 10-140 to add a new definition of "writing" or "written" to include blockchain technology as defined in section 44-7061.

Amends section 44-7003 to extend Article 5 of the electronic transactions chapter to apply to Title 10 (corporations) and transactions governed by Title 47, chapters 2, 2A and 7.

Expands the scope of Arizona's electronic transactions law to recognize blockchain-based records and signatures in corporate and certain commercial transactions.

Approved by the Governor on April 3, 2018 and filed with the Secretary of State the same date.
