At least 239 U.S. armed forces veterans have been deported to at least 34 countries and are denied medical treatment and benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Deported veterans cannot claim disabilities unless previously evaluated by a VA doctor, and approval for treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder or war-related injuries is extremely difficult to obtain.

Deported veterans have died waiting for approval of medical treatment while on the border.

Urges U.S. Congress to enact legislation providing medical treatment and other benefits for all deported veterans of the U.S. armed forces.

Directs the Arizona Secretary of State to transmit copies of this memorial to the President of the U.S. Senate, Speaker of the U.S. House, and all Arizona Members of Congress.
