Arizona Legislature formally applies to Congress to call an Article V constitutional convention limited to proposing an amendment that eliminates the Electoral College process whereby electors meet in their respective states to vote for President and Vice President.

Application constitutes a continuing application under Article V that remains valid until at least two-thirds of state legislatures submit applications on the same subject.

Arizona's application covers the same subject matter as other states' applications to eliminate the Electoral College and shall be aggregated with those applications to reach the two-thirds threshold required for Congress to call a limited convention, but shall not be aggregated with applications on other subjects.

Secretary of State must transmit the resolution to the President, U.S. Senate leadership, U.S. House leadership, all Arizona members of Congress, and presiding officers of all state legislatures, requesting their cooperation.
