AZ HCR2014

Proposes an amendment to Article VII, Section 10 of the Arizona Constitution to establish closed primary elections.

Restricts primary election voting to registered members of each qualified political party; only party members may vote in that party's primary election.

Prohibits persons registered as "no party preference," "independent," or with non-qualified political parties from voting in any qualified political party's primary election.

Requires the Secretary of State to submit the proposition to voters at the next general election for approval under Article XXI of the Arizona Constitution.
