Notes that living kidney donors have improved and extended the lives of over 145,000 kidney transplant recipients nationwide, including more than 2,800 in Arizona.

Acknowledges a 39% decline in living kidney donor transplants in Arizona since 2009, with the most significant drop occurring in 2017.

Recognizes organizations including the TransplantFirst Academy, National Kidney Foundation of Arizona, and the Erma Bombeck Project for their work to provide hope and support to kidney patients.
