Minnie A. Griffin, age 96, passed away on February 4, 2018 in Arizona after living there for 72 years.

She was a Women's Army Corps veteran who served in the European Theatre of Operations and the Battle of the Bulge during World War II, stationed in England, France, and Belgium.

She married Jimmy Griffin, a soldier from Globe, Arizona, on June 11, 1945 in England, and later worked as a ranch owner and administrative assistant at Gila Pueblo College.

She is survived by six children, nineteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

The Arizona House and Senate unanimously adopted this concurrent resolution on March 13, 2018 to express condolences to her family and friends.
