Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 8-463 to require contractor and subcontractor employees in information technology positions who access department information to obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card pursuant to section 41-1758.07.

Contractor and subcontractor IT employees must meet the same fingerprint clearance requirements as department employees before gaining access to any department information technology systems.

Contractors and subcontractors are responsible for paying the costs of obtaining fingerprint clearance cards for their employees, though the department may allow these costs to be included as allowable expenses in contracts.

Employees who fail to obtain a fingerprint clearance card must be immediately denied access to all department information technology systems.

The bill clarifies that fingerprint information obtained under this section may only be disclosed to department staff for employment purposes.
