Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 13-1210 to expand the definition of "public safety employee or volunteer" to include contractors employed by state or local law enforcement agencies or correctional facilities.

Adds emergency medical technicians and any other person authorized to perform official duties or be present within a correctional facility to the list of individuals eligible to petition for disease testing after alleged exposure incidents.

Allows public safety employees, volunteers, and contractors to petition courts for orders requiring disease testing (HIV, bloodborne diseases, or other specified diseases) when alleged exposure occurs through biting, scratching, spitting, or transfer of bodily fluids during the performance of official duties.

Maintains existing procedures for court hearings on petitions, specimen collection, test result notification, and requirements that medical examiners destroy specimens if courts do not issue orders within 30 days.

Became effective upon approval by the Governor on March 16, 2018.
