Department of Child Safety must identify all reports and studies required by state and federal law by December 31, 2018.

DCS shall examine existing reporting requirements to identify redundancies and inconsistencies among various statutory mandates.

DCS must work with stakeholders to evaluate whether currently required information is necessary and identify any additional information that should be included in reports.

DCS must review the frequency and method of report communication to identify ways to make reports more efficient and meaningful to report users.

DCS shall report recommendations for any changes to reporting requirements to the legislative committee of reference for health and human services issues.
