• Amends Arizona Revised Statutes Section 15-1808 to expand tuition waiver scholarships for children and dependents of U.S. armed forces members with disabilities rated 30% or more by the VA.

• Provides tuition waivers at Arizona universities and community colleges for eligible dependents who are 30 years old or younger and have not exceeded credit hour limits (64 hours at community colleges or equivalent baccalaureate degree credits).

• Extends existing tuition waiver provisions to cover children and spouses of peace officers, correctional officers, firefighters, emergency paramedics, and National Guard members killed or mortally injured in the line of duty.

• Establishes eligibility criteria for National Guard members with Purple Heart citations or medical discharge due to service-related injuries, and armed forces members with Purple Heart citations and 50% or higher disability ratings.

• Applies felony conviction prohibition for recipients under the expanded veteran disability provisions in both university and community college settings.
