Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 16-408 to make a technical correction regarding special district elections.

Clarifies that the governing body of a "special district" (not "election") authorized to conduct an election may contract with the board of supervisors and county recorder for election services.

Specifies that contracted election costs shall be charged against the special district's funds rather than an "election" fund.

Maintains existing provisions requiring petitioners to file a bond with security approved by the board of supervisors before publication of the election call, sufficient to cover expenses if the district formation election fails.

Allows the board of supervisors to order additional bonding if the initial bond is determined insufficient during proceedings.
