AZ SB1202

Amends Arizona Revised Statutes section 16-409 to allow counties to conduct mail ballot elections for any election administered by that county, including federal, state, and local elections.

Requires county board of supervisors approval by vote before a county may conduct a countywide mail ballot election.

Mandates counties, cities, towns, or school districts conducting mail ballot elections to report annually to the president of the senate and speaker of the house of representatives by January 1 following an election.

Reporting requirements include voter turnout changes, cost comparisons to traditional elections, program improvement suggestions, frequency and severity of irregularities, voter satisfaction, and number of nondeliverable ballots.
