Counties are prohibited from requiring employers to provide health insurance to their employees, and regulation of health insurance is declared a statewide concern not subject to further regulation by counties.

The bill adds section 9-500.41 to Arizona Revised Statutes governing cities and section 11-269.20 governing counties with identical prohibitions and preemption language.

Bill was approved by the Governor on April 10, 2018 and filed with the Secretary of State the same day.
