• Awards in vitro human embryos to the spouse intending to allow them to develop to birth during dissolution of marriage proceedings.

• If both spouses intend to allow embryos to develop to birth and both provided genetic material, courts must resolve disputes in a manner providing the best chance for embryo development.

• If both spouses intend to allow embryos to develop to birth but only one provided genetic material, awards embryos to the genetic provider.

• The non-awarded spouse has no parental rights, responsibilities, or interests in resulting children unless they provided genetic material and consent in writing to be a parent.

• Requires spouses who provided genetic material but do not consent to parenthood to provide detailed written health and genetic history information to the spouse awarded the embryos.
