SB 1432 Summary

• Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management shall develop a training program for ranchers and landowners to detect, prevent, and suppress forest and range fires on their property.

• The training program may be offered to individual ranchers and landowners or to groups.

• The state is not liable for claims arising from a trained rancher's or landowner's performance or failure to perform fire detection, prevention, or suppression activities they were trained to conduct.
