Updates terminology in 56 sections of Arizona law covering family law, property rights, tax code, vital records, adoption, workers' compensation, and related areas

Directs state agencies to make corresponding changes to their administrative rules to align with the new gender-neutral terminology

Maintains all substantive legal rights, duties, and obligations while modernizing language to be inclusive of all married couples
