Honors Norman P. McClelland, who passed away on July 11, 2017 at age 90, a lifelong Arizona resident and business leader.

Recognizes McClelland's 45-year tenure as CEO and leadership as chairman of Shamrock Foods Company, which grew from a 1922 startup to one of America's top 100 private employers.

Acknowledges his philanthropic contributions including support for St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, Phoenix Children's Hospital, and donations of over 450,000 pounds of food annually to local food banks.

Commends his preservation of Irish heritage and culture in Arizona, including his work on the Irish Cultural Center library and receipt of the 2016 Presidential Distinguished Service Award from the Irish President.

Expresses the Legislature's condolences to McClelland's surviving family members, including his wife Barbara, children Kent and Kathe, and multiple grandchildren.
