Honors Colonel Doris L. Caldwell for her 28 years of military service from 1948 to 1981, including initial enlistment in the Women's Army Corps in December 1948 and commissioning as a 2nd lieutenant in 1957.

Recognizes her numerous military accomplishments including service as personnel staff officer, administrative and personnel system management officer, and recruitment officer, with extensive military education in officer training, recruiting, leadership, and data processing.
